Hi! I’m a user experience designer who specializes in interaction design and information architecture.
I currently work for DAU, an agency/college within the Department of Defense.
On a high level, my longest career experience has been working for Northrop Grumman as a user experience designer.
Here’s a quick rundown of some things I’ve done:
- Information architecture, including cardsorts, site/software navigation mapping, and content inventories, content auditing, tree testing
- Interaction design, including creating artifacts such as task models, task flows/task analysis diagrams, and user personas, and prototypes of various levels of fidelity
- Developing and conducting user research interviews and expectancy tests; subsequently analyzing test results and identifying requirements
- Creating wireframes (and prototypes), detailed design documentation for developers, and other visual design work as needed on projects
- Assisting with video production work for various user experience-focused projects, including audio/video editing and 3D modeling
- Performing all of these tasks in both classic waterfall-style life cycles and also agile-style environments
